That Greek mythology test thingy has been making the rounds so:

Your result for The Greek Mythology Personality Test...

Dionysus

33% Extroversion, 13% Intuition, 100% Emotiveness, 76% Perceptiveness

Although deeply emotional, you are extremely lacking in self-knowledge. You are somewhat needy, and when bored, may become very hedonistic. Your life is a quest for meaning, above all else. You are most like Dionysus. You are primarily interested in serving others, but your efforts are almost always unappreciated. You aren't confrontational, you're often out of tune with your own needs and unaware of the consequences of your own actions.

You are, at heart, a good person. You are very affectionate, and you are very loyal to your friends and family. You are very reluctant to burden others with your own problems, to the point that this in itself can become a problem for the people who care about you. This is a particular of a more general problem. Dionysus sends wave of ruin throughout his personal life. He is the photographer who seduces his subjects. He is the teacher who seduces a student. He is the art student who paints nonrepresentational splashes of color, he is the poet who rejects meter and content. You seek sexual partners more than anything else (this is to exploit the nurturing side of others to help fill your own void). If not sexual partners, this desire to become the object of sympathy with other people can manifest itself in other destructive ways. Stinkfist by Tool explains your condition pretty well. It's very likely that you haven't had many experienced mentors. You don't want them either, because you're the sort of person who rejects criticism and boundaries, but they're also your only hope for reaching any kind of emotional maturity.

Famous People Like You: John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Marilyn Monroe, Hugh Hefner

I'd tell you to stay clear of Hermes, Icarus and Apollo, but you could probably learn something from them. You're least likely to hurt The Oracle, Atlas, Prometheus, and Daedalus, but Atlas and Daedalus won't like you very much.

Tomorrow is the start of the yearly Christmas Gauntlet. It's pretty relaxed this year actually: no double-bookings, I have a ride to two of the more distant ones, and I was able to get presents I think people will like.

Just got home from beer and a movie with Nick Pfaller. The Hangover was pretty good, I did not expect that plot twist until it was almost upon me.

I think it just came today.  Everybody just opened their presents.  Well, they weren’t wrapped in first place and we just decided not to wrap it.  YAY for eco!

His parents got a robe/Snuggie and slippers.  Stan got his PS3 keyboard.  Sky got red Converse but it’s a bit big so we’re just gonna keep that one until she can and there’s brown one coming her way tomorrow.  We also got her a pair of slippers that has stuff on the bottom so she won’t take it off like she does her socks. She got the Text & Learn from Leapfrog and a new Tag Junior book.  Oh yes, she’s getting the space base that goes with her rocket.  I’m getting THIS!!!!   Out of us all, who’s the excited one here?  :D

We’re also getting this…  pretty much for us three.

Sky got that black boots (in her recent Santa picture) from her Memaw and Papa!  Pair of outfits and a coat from Grandma and Grandpa.  Auntie Liz and Uncle Jr got her bunch of clothes, an art easel and crayola something for the travel.

I think that’s about it.  Of what I can remember right now… :)

Happy Holidays!

So I've been here an hour and a half and half only just received my tenth call on the phones. I'm not going to complain too much though because all that idleness has contributed to a really solid idea for Verthandi's visual design. A little bit steampunk, a bit more streamline moderne, and a dash of classy hood ornament. Nyohohohoho, can't wait to get these doodles to a scanner.

Mmmm. A shot of vodka mixed in with iced tea is juuuuust the right amount of warm and fuzzy that I like.

Also I have gotten tired of my posters not staying up on the walls no matter what I use to put them there: scotch tape, magic putty, those little super sticky squares, or even fucking electrical tape. So I superglued the motherfuckers up. TAKE THAT, GRAVITY you ugly whore. I will have some fucking Alphonse Mucha and Gustav Klimt on my walls you sanctimonious pile of pig aids.

I think me and Colleen-from-work are gonna go to the gym together soon. Good times, she's hilarious (and p. cute) so I'm hoping that we'll get super motivated to keep it up and also that I will not embarrass the shit out of myself by having trouble doing all the stretching and weightlifting exercises that usually wind me so badly.

I also do not understand why there is a 'detect location' button and not a 'detect music' button. Arse!!

Sara and I are really good friends, but now I have to wonder if its just because of the massive amount of blood we've swapped! LOL!

Thanks Leo for this shot and so many others. Man, AWA was such a blast this year!

So many good photoshoots I need to post here. I'm making big collages of my Mirror's Edge photos, got a new RE photoshoot to post, dragoncon pics, etc. Most of you have probably seen them from other sources but its nice to get them all in one place.

I had a lot of fun putting rhinestones on my updated Mercenaries Ada shoes and now I want to make a costume that requires lots of shiny, sparkly embellishments! Any suggestions?

I’m annoyed with this drink.  It just replaced the Coke we used to drink.  I gave up all kinds of carbonated drinks and just stick with water, milk and some juices.  Stan drinks Sprite Zero pretty much 6 cans a day.  I don’t keep track since I don’t drink it anymore since I keep getting gas from it.  But should a two years old drink it???  He keeps arguing with me about it being no caffeine and no sugar whatever.  I get thrilled when she asks for water.

Blah blah blah whatever.  Brain garbage at 1am.
